As guests climb the rose timber stairs to Cherry Tree Cottage, walk onto the wide verandah you know they are affected by the beauty at their feet if there is silence for several minutes. Cherry Tree Cottage is perched high overlooking a rich green paddock at Benbellen farm where alpacas and their young graze contentedly and where geese sit preening themselves by the edge of a large lily strewn dam. The self contained cottage is newly built of local NSW North Coast timbers and the accommodation features a master bedroom with queen bed and French doors leading onto the verandah. The second bedroom has bunks and a single bed and there is a large nicely presented living/dining area and fully equipped kitchen. From every room in the cottage there are breathtaking views either looking down the Hannam Vale valley to South Brother mountain or up the timbered hills which encase this exquisitely verdant slice of mid north coast NSW hinterland. The spacious verandah provides ample room for outdoor entertaining and relaxing while you soak in the views. Virtually undiscovered until now, Hannam Vale is a small dairy valley with rolling hills dotted with black and white cows and is surrounded by two National Parks with bush trails, picnic areas, volcanic outcrops and water falls. Half an hour from the beaches at Laurieton and Harrington, Hannam Vale offers both a country and a beach experience.
