A modern, country style home, the B&B is set on nine acres surrounded by native gardens, with magic views and lots of peace and quiet. Watch the rainbow and scaly-breasted lorikeets, the galahs, magpies, honeyeaters, kookaburras, pied butcherbirds and even black cockatoos come to the verandah while you savour your hearty country-style breakfast. Other meals are provided by arrangement and, in season, you can pick herbs and vegetables from the vegie patch and fresh fruit from the orchard. The B&B accommodation is rated four stars and each room features queen size beds, ensuites and a separate lounge & dining area for guests. When looking for inspiration on what to do around the area, Gary and Crellyn are a wealth of knowledge, having lived and worked in the area for over 30 years. They know all about the fantastic mountain drives through nearby national parks and state forests as well as how to direct you to nearby villages, farm attractions, golf courses, local beaches, fishing spots, restaurants and clubs. At $90 a double and $70 a single (including breakfast) Stewarts River B&B represents excellent value for money and is ideal for either an overnight stop or for an extended quiet, country getaway.
