Coorabakh National Park
Hannam Vale is, in many ways the "gateway" to Coorabakh National Park, a relatively compact park of 1,827 hectares featuring stunning lookouts, rainforest walks, caves, volcanic plugs and waterfalls.
The loop road, Coopernook Forest Drive, running from Hannam Vale to Coopernook, is fine for standard cars most of the year, however, a 4-wheel drive would come in handy when the road is wet. A scenic drive tour takes you through -
unique plants and animals, including recently discovered rare plant species of callistemon, hibbertia and hakea. Peregrine falcons, square-tailed kites and paradise riflebirds are just some of the many rare birds.
Other National Park in the NSW Mid North Coast Region
